We had fun Thursday at PMP. We had lots of fun.

Drinks for kids.

 Kim came to talk to us about drinks we can have every day, sometimes and hardly at all.

 We had to sort the drinks on to the right card.

 We can drink milk or water every day.

 Flavoured milk, flavoured water and fruit juice have lots of sugar. We can drink them sometimes.

Coke has 16 teaspoons of sugar! Kim told us that Powerade is for people like the All Blacks who do lots of sport. These are drinks that are not good for children. We learned that we can have better drinks like milk or water. Water is also free from the tap!

Guiness Book of Records Apple Crunch

At 2.13 on Friday we bit into an apple with children from lots of other schools. We counted down, 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, crunch! The apples were very juicy!
