Elgregoe the Magician

 9 children from Room 11 went to see the magic show.

 He even made snow!

Elgregoe came to Firth School. He did some magic tricks. He taught us about coping with bullies.

Popcorn

 We made popcorn in the popcorn maker.
We put the yellow corn into the machine. It got really hot. We could see the popcorn spinning around. It went pop! When it pops it is white!

We made 4 bowls of popcorn.

 We were in groups to share the popcorn. We watched 2 stories on the big screen tv.

Marble Art

We rolled marbles in an ice cream container to make these great patterns. We put them on to a coloured piece of paper. They look great on our wall!

Autumn Leaves

We went for a walk to find Autumn leaves.

There are lots of trees at Firth School that are losing their leaves.

 We found red, orange, yellow, brown and green leaves.

Chiefs Rippa Rugby Team

 Lily, Anaru, Rutene and Tara-Rose play in the Chiefs' Rippa Rugby Team. Can you see the black belts around their waist? They have tags you have to rip off. Mrs TB went to watch the game and took some photos for the blog. Well done Room 11 Rippa Rugby players!

 They had to warm up before the game. 

Tara-Rose's dad was the coach on Saturday.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

 We read The Very Hungry Caterpillar at reading time. We made caterpillars with the playdough.

Whaea Carla

 We go to Whaea Carla's room on a Tuesday. We are learning a new action song.

 We can sleep, e moe.

We can greet each other, Tena koe.
