Anzac Day

We had a special assembly for Anzac Day.
Mr Moles talked to us. He had been to Gallipoli where all the New Zealand soldiers were killed. He gave us a tree to plant.
He bought the seeds back from Gallipoli and grew the trees. The school leaders planted the tree.

The bugle played the Last Post while the flag was raised to half mast.
The flag at half mast means some one has died. We were remembering all the New Zealand soldiers who died in Gallipoli.
The school leaders read to us.

Here is the pine tree that Mr Moles grew from seed he bought back from Gallipoli.
