Firewise at Firth

We had the Firewise unit come to school. The fireman asked us questions as we have been learning about what to do if there is a fire. Get down, get low, get out fast and shout Fire, Fire, Fire!

 The smoke alarm went off, we got down low, crawled under the black sheet, shouted fire, fire, fire and got out of the hall really fast!

 Harmony and Lily raced the fireman to put the fire fighter's uniform on.

 We practised crawling through the tunnel and meeting at the safe place, the mail box.

Jacob's birthday.

Jacob is 7. He shared some yummy chocolate cupcakes with the class.

We have had a great start to the term. Miss Mac, our Social Worker, read a story about helping people who are being bullied. We have started DEX, daily exercise, and Puffer Fish came to tell us about asthma.
