Ronald McDonald

Ronald McDonald came to school. He taught us about being safe crossing the road.
We have to Stop, Look and Listen before we cross the road.

He lost his sock in the wind. He found it on his back.

Ronald McDonald gave Mrs Warrender the red sock to keep at school.

Anzac Day

We had a special assembly for Anzac Day.
Mr Moles talked to us. He had been to Gallipoli where all the New Zealand soldiers were killed. He gave us a tree to plant.
He bought the seeds back from Gallipoli and grew the trees. The school leaders planted the tree.

The bugle played the Last Post while the flag was raised to half mast.
The flag at half mast means some one has died. We were remembering all the New Zealand soldiers who died in Gallipoli.
The school leaders read to us.

Here is the pine tree that Mr Moles grew from seed he bought back from Gallipoli.

Mill Crescent Kindergarten

Room 11 went to visit Mill Crescent Kindergarten. We walked across the College field.
Look at our photos to see what we did.
 We went on the computer.
 We went in the sandpit.
Sandra went on the running mats.
Rutene went to the building table.
Can you see the cool water mountain
 in the sandpit?
 We played with the puzzles.
Josie made a picture.
We went fishing in the water.
 We built things together.
We had a look at the volley ball court
 at the college.
It was so windy on the college field. Look at our arms and hair. They are blowing in the wind!
